In Memoriam

by Art Spiegelman

As we celebrate my mother-in-law's 80th birthday and I remember what would have been my beloved grandmother's 93rd birthday, and think of my dear friend Rahimah's 45th birthday, it still makes me angry that this day will forever be tainted with hate.

Join me tomorrow as Thelma Lee takes us for a Pink Ride, which espouses every opposite of the mentality that took down two towers, stole 2996 lives, broke many spirits and forever changed our American world, and the world at large.
